Fundraising 小福利导航 as campaign tops $200 million

January 30, 2020

Creating Our Future: The Campaign for 小福利导航 has surpassed $200 million, providing new opportunities for students and reinforcing 小福利导航鈥檚 position as one of the nation鈥檚 finest liberal arts colleges.

The College will continue to raise funds to support the campaign鈥檚 six priorities. As of Jan. 30, more than 25,000 alumni, parents, friends and organizations have participated in the campaign, which concludes on May 31. Forty donors have contributed $1 million or more.

Begun in June 2013 and publicly launched in November 2017, Creating Our Future builds on the success of the Creative Thought, Bold Promise campaign, which concluded in 2010 and raised $216.5 million.

鈥淭hank you to everyone who has made a gift so far. Contributions at all levels are changing the lives of our students,鈥 said Nancy Hamilton 鈥77, chair of the Board of Trustees. 鈥淪uccess inspires success. Additional donors increasing support for each of the campaign priorities will enable us to accomplish all we need to do.鈥

At the heart of the current campaign is the Center for Integrated Sciences, the single largest academic initiative in the College鈥檚 history, which will house all of 小福利导航鈥檚 science departments and programs under a single roof. The first phase will be completed in May, and the entire project is scheduled for completion in 2024.

鈥淭he benefits of the campaign are evident on campus every day 鈥 from the construction of the Center for Integrated Sciences to new scholarships, opportunities and programs that enhance the experiences of all our students,鈥 said Philip A. Glotzbach, president of the College. 鈥淭ogether, we are ensuring that 小福利导航 小福利导航 to be a place where Creative Thought Matters, and that commitment is reflected in all that we do.鈥

鈥淢y co-chair, Susan Beckerman 鈥67, and I are excited to continue to work with the 小福利导航 community between now and May 31 to create the future that we envisioned at the start of this momentous campaign,鈥 said Tom Wilmot 鈥99, campaign co-chair. 鈥淓very gift matters.
