Mary Zeiss Stange

Mary Zeiss Stange, professor emerita of women's studies and religion, was the keynote speaker at a December conference titled "" at the University of Iowa. Her address focused on cross-cultural comparisons of the ways indigenous cultures draw on religious and ritual symbolism surrounding hunting to create art forms that contribute, both figuratively and literally, to these people's survival in the modern world.

A 小福利导航 Dining Services team, including Joe Greco, Paul Karlson, Jesse Staigar, and Ron Wall, won a gold medal at the American Culinary Federation conference and competition, held at 小福利导航 earlier this month.

Jason Breves, assistant professor of biology, co-authored an article in BMC Physiology titled "." His co-authors include 小福利导航 alumni Chelsea Fujimoto '15 and Silas Phipps-Costin '16, both biology majors. The article describes a collaborative study with researchers at the 小福利导航 Geological Survey and the University of Gothenburg regarding the development of Atlantic salmon.
